Fatih
Kaya was born in Erzincan, Turkey, in 1972. He received his bachelor's degree
in Physical Education and Sport from Ataturk University, Erzincan Faculty of
Education, in 1999, his master's degree in Coaching Education from Abant Izzet
Baysal University, Institute of Health Sciences, in 2004, and his Ph.D. in
Physical Education and Sport from Marmara University, Institute of Health
Sciences, in 2011.
Since
2011, Kaya has been serving as a faculty member at Erzincan Binali Yıldırım
University. He became an associate professor in the field of Sports Sciences in
2019 and a full professor in 2025. The main research topics highlighted in
Kaya's publications and projects include: studies aimed at enhancing athletes'
performance, the physiological effects of exercise and optimizing these
effects, training methods and techniques, the impact of physical activity on
health, sports activities of children and youth and their developmental
effects, and the effects of exercise on elderly individuals and approaches to
delay aging.
Fatih
Kaya has over 90 scientific publications in national and international
journals. He is a member of the Sports Sciences Association of Turkey and
serves as a referee for international journals.
