Asst. Prof. OĞUZ KÜRŞAT DEMİRCİ

Oğuz Kürşat Demirci was born in Kemaliye, Erzincan, Türkiye. He completed his secondary education at Erzincan Science High School. He completed his undergraduate studies in three programmes: Automotive Teaching at the Faculty of Technical Education, Fırat University; Public Finance at the Faculty of Economics, Anadolu University; and Mechanical Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University. He graduated with honours/high honours from these programmes and received the Faculty Valedictorian Award from the Faculty of Technical Education at Fırat University.

He completed his master’s degree at Gazi University, Institute of Science and Technology, Department of Mechanical Education, and obtained his PhD degree in 2021 from Gazi University, Institute of Science and Technology, Department of Automotive Engineering.

He began his academic career in 2013 as a lecturer at Aksaray University, Vocational School of Technical Sciences, and continued his appointment in 2014 at Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University, Vocational School. He currently continues his academic work at the same institution.

Within the scope of his expertise in automotive engineering, he has published and presented research on internal combustion engines, electric vehicles, and exhaust emissions in national and international peer-reviewed venues. In addition, he has taken active roles in projects supported by the European Union. He also serves as the University Zero Waste Coordinator. He is married and the father of two children.
