Interested in Orthopedic Trauma, Arthroplasty, and Sports Injuries.
I
am an Associate Professor of Orthopedics and Traumatology at Erzincan
University, Turkey. My academic and clinical focus is primarily on orthopedic
trauma, polytrauma management, arthroplasty, and sports injuries.
I
graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine (2004–2010) and
completed my residency in Orthopedics and Traumatology at Baltalimanı
Bone and Joint Disorders Training and Research Hospital, Istanbul (2011–2016).
During my mandatory service in Van Ercis State Hospital (2016-2019), a region
affected by conflict, I gained valuable experience in orthopedic war surgery.
Since
2019, I have been a faculty member at Erzincan University, where I obtained the
title of Associate Professor in 2023. My academic portfolio includes 33 peer-reviewed publications (21 SCI-E, 6 ESCI, 6 ULAKBİM), 7 book
chapters, and 18 oral presentations. My H-index is 8 (Google
Scholar). In addition, I actively contribute as a peer reviewer for
leading international journals, having reviewed over 310 manuscripts across
189 journals.
Internationally,
I am a member of AO Trauma, AO Recon, and ESSKA, and I hold multiple AO
Trauma Master certificates in pediatrics, soft-tissue & bone defect
management, pelvis–acetabulum fractures, and upper extremity trauma. I
completed a hands-on surgical fellowship in Innsbruck, Austria (2025)
under Prof. Rohit Arora, focusing on upper extremity trauma, elbow
arthroplasty, pelvis/acetabulum surgery, and polytrauma care. I have also been accepted
for an AO Recon Hands-on Fellowship at the OCM-Muenchen/SANA Campus in Germany
(2026).
Through
both clinical practice and academic contributions, I aim to advance trauma and
reconstructive orthopedic surgery while fostering international collaboration
and education.
