Biography
Ahmet Aslan,
He was born in Samsun (1977). He completed his undergraduate education at Marmara University Atatürk Faculty of Education in 1999. He went to Germany in 2001, after language education, he attended the University of Cologne. Returning to Turkey at the end of 2010, Aslan received his master's degree (March, 2014) with his thesis titled "The Effects of Family, Religion and Media on the Identity Formation of Secondary Education Youth" at the Social Sciences Institute of Ondokuz Mayıs University (March, 2014), He also completed his doctorate with his thesis titled "The Perception of Identity and Religion of the Third Generation in the Context of Multiculturalism and Integration Debates: The Case of Cologne” (December, 2018). Continuing his research in the fields of religion and migration sociology, Aslan is a faculty member at Erzincan University, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Sociology as of the beginning of 2020. He is married and has three children. In addition to Aslan's book titled Migration and Aftermath / Conceptual Analysis in the Context of Europe, which was published in 2021, Aslan has chapters written in national and international books and many articles published in academic journals.
