Abstract:Values education is a crucial component of education that strives to enhance people's social and emotional wellbeing as well as their ability to make moral and ethical decisions. Finally, literature may provide readers behavioral role models they can apply to their own life. The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate the morality stories Abdullah DOAN presented during his studies in the Adyaman Area. The source of the Adyaman Region Stories was created utilizing qualitative research techniques in order to ascertain the values that are present in the study. This study uses a research methodology that involves reading, summarizing, organizing, and categorizing stories in accordance with the values they convey. A total of 39 qualities, including honesty, civility, respect, bravery, responsibility, love, tolerance, faithfulness, perseverance, justice, mercy, self-sacrifice, humility, dependability, prayer, loyalty, and other themes, were used to categorize the stories into several groups. According to the research that was done for the thesis, Abdullah DOGAN's stories from the Adıyaman Area feature a number of values that are crucial for values teaching. The growth of people's moral and ethical judgments as well as their social and emotional wellbeing may be influenced by these ideals. The findings of this research provide insight into the significance of utilizing literature, including fairy tales and other works, to teach students about values.
