Türkiye'nin önemli eğitim sorunlarından birisi de özel eğitimdir. İşitme engellilerin eğitimi 1951 yılından buyana örgün eğitim çalışmaları arasında yer almasına rağmen, problemlerde çığ gibi büyümeye devam etmektedir. Özürlü bir insan yaşamını sürdürebilmek için büyük bir mücadele vermek mecburiyetindedir. Günümüzde özürlülerden yaşantısını ekonomik, sosyal ve kültürel yönden, normal insanlar seviyesinde sürdürenlerin sayısının az olduğu bilinmektedir. Özürlü insan sayısını en aza indirmek ancak, özürlü olma sebeplerini bilmekle ve özürlü olmaya sebep olan etkenleri ortadan kaldırmakla mümkün olabilir. İşitme engellilerin topluma uyum sağlamalarında ailelerinin ilgilerinin ne düzeyde olduğunun tespitinde ekonomik yapının ve kültürel dokunun etkinliğini bilebilmek ve rehberlik hizmetlerinin etkinliğini tespit etmek için geniş bir literatür taraması sonuçları aktarılmıştır.
One of the important educational problems of Turkey is special education. Education of hearing impaired people continues to grow like an avalanche in the problems, though it is included among the educational training courses for the buyer since 1951. A disabled person is obliged to struggle to survive. Today, it is known that the number of people who sustain their experience of disability from the economic, social and cultural level at the level of normal people is low. It may be possible to reduce the number of people with disabilities least, but to know the causes of disability and to remove the factors that cause disability. The results of a large literature survey have been presented in order to determine the extent to which the hearing impaired people in their collective compliance are aware of their economic structure and cultural touching effectiveness and to determine the effectiveness of their guidance services.
