Özet

A new mite, Stigmaeus turcica n. sp., is described from Erzincan, Turkey, collected from a dung hill. Stigmaeus luxtoni Wood, 1981, found only in New Zealand and Stigmaeus elongatus Berlese, 1886, found in Argentina, Crimea, Iran, Italy, Philippine Islands and USA are reported from Turkey for the first time and redescribed.
