© 2022 Thomas Telford Ltd.An analysis of a novel bond-slip model for geocell reinforcement in cohesionless soils was established in terms of bond stresses and displacements to evaluate the behavior of geocell-reinforced soil structures. In this study, the bond-slip behavior of geocell reinforced cohesionless soils under different normal and interfacial shear stresses was investigated using a total of 55 pull-out tests on geocell reinforcements of different sizes and stiffness. The obtained results of load-displacement behavior of the 55 pull-out tests on the geocell reinforcements in cohesionless soil were converted to the bond stress-displacement graphs. Overall, it was found that the bond stress-displacement parameters depend significantly on the size and stiffness of the geocell reinforcement and the applied vertical stress.
