Giriş-Amaç: Öğrenci Değişim Programları, farklıkültürlerle iletişim becerisini ve bilgi aktarımınısağlamayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu çalışmada SelçukÜniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi öğrencilerinin değişimprogramları ile ilgili bilgi düzeylerinin araştırılmasıamaçlanmıştır.Gereç-Yöntem: Çalışmada Selçuk Üniversitesi TıpFakültesi öğrencilerinin öğrenci değişim programlarıile ilgili bilgi düzeylerini araştırmak için 17 sorudanoluşan bir anket uygulanmıştır.Bulgular: Çalışmaya 89'u 1. sınıf, 103'ü 2. sınıf, 201'i3. sınıf ve 82'si 4. sınıf olmak üzere toplam 475öğrenci katılmıştır. Analizlerde 387 öğrenci Erasmusprogramından yararlanmayı düşündüğünübelirtmiştir. Bu program ile en çok 274 öğrenciAlmanya'ya gitmek isterken ikinci sırada 254 öğrenciİngiltere'ye gitmek istediğini belirtmiştir. Nedenlerisorulduğunda, 186 öğrenci mesleki kariyerlerinekatkı için, 134 öğrenci ise yeni bir dil öğrenmek içincevabını vermiştir. Öğrenciler konu ile ilgiliseminerler düzenlenmesini ve kontenjanlarınartırılmasını talep etmişlerdir.Tartışma-Sonuç: Elde edilen bulgulara göre,öğrenciler kariyer gelişimlerine katkı sağlamak, yenibir dil öğrenmek ve farklı kültürlerle tanışmakamacıyla değişim programlarına olumluyaklaşmaktadırlar.
Introduction–Objective: Student Exchange Programs aim to provide the ability to communicate and knowledge transfer between different cultures. In this study, it was purposed to investigate the knowledge levels among the students of Selcuk University Faculty of Medicine about exchange programs. Material-Method: In this study, a questionnaire consisting of 17 questions was administered to investigate the knowledge levels of Selcuk University Faculty of Medicine students about student exchange programs. Findings: A total of 475 students, (89 in 1st grade, 103 in 2nd grade, 201 in 3rd grade and 82 in 4th grade) participated in the study. In the analyses, 387 students stated that they planned to benefit from the Erasmus program. Under this program, the students wanted to go primarily to Germany (274 students), while the United Kingdom was in the second place, with 254 students. When asked about their reasons, 186 students stated that this program might contribute to their professional careers and 134 students aimed to learn a new language. The students requested that seminars on this topic should be organised and quotas should be increased. Discussion-Conclusion: According to the findings obtained, students approach exchange programs positively to contribute their career development, learn a new language and familiarize with different cultures.
