Özet

In all areas of life, both indoor and outdoor arrangements are made not only for healthy individuals, but also considering that users of disabled individuals have equal accessibility. One of the most important of these is that the campuses, which are among the educational institutions that host different users, are barrier-free and usable. In this context, studies were carried out in the open green areas of the Faculty of Education, Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Civil Aviation Vocational School, Rectorate Building, Social Facility Building, Library, Indoor Sports Facility, Congress Center, and Yalnızbağ Campus located in the Yalnızbağ Campus of Erzincan Binali Yıldırım University. Academicians using these areas, students studying on campus, administrative staff, guests, students who came to the open education exam and the exams held by ÖSYM were investigated for their compliance with the usability standards. Adhering to national and international disabled person regulations, the existing accessibility of the entrance doors of the buildings, parking lots, ramps, elevators, WC, directional signs and warning signs, landscaping equipment, stairs, railings and handrails, circulation system (pedestrian roads, etc.), stops and tangible surfaces conditions were investigated by on-site observation and measurement.

When all the data obtained at the end of the study were evaluated within the scope of standards, the current problems of the campus were stated; Solution proposals have been developed to correct these deficiencies. An unobstructed campus map has been prepared to make the campus more accessible and preferable
