This study aimed to investigate
the impact of Dynamic Mathematical Learning Objects (DMLOs) designed for the
parabola unit of mathematics lessons, according to the 5E learning model, on
students' academic achievements and class participation. The research comprehensively
addressed the design stages and required materials and commands for utilizing
learning objects prepared using the Wolfram Mathematica application platform.
Additionally, findings from similar studies regarding the effects of DMLOs on
students were analyzed and compared with the research results, discussing the
role and significance of DMLOs in mathematics education. This study made a
significant contribution by evaluating the effectiveness of DMLOs in
mathematics instruction and understanding how they can be used to enhance
students' comprehension of the parabola concept. The research outcomes
underscored the effective utilization of technology in mathematics education
and how it can enhance learning processes.
