In the health sector with an efficient logistics management, targets such as reducing cost and waste, preventing medical errors, improving service quality and minimizing patient/customer service time can be achieved. The aim of this study is to examine the Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) applications in health sector in a comprehensive manner. In this respect literature review has been conducted by using many national and international databases and related keywords, covering the years 1997-2019. Home healthcare services are the most commonly used areas and meta-heuristic methods are the most used solution technique of VRP in the health sector are determined as results of the study.
