In this study, the effects of prism turbulators with different numbers of holes on the heat transfer and friction factor in a heat exchanger pipe were analyzed with the help of Ansys-Fluent 2021 R1 program. Water was used as the working fluid. Depending on the increasing fluid flow rate, the analyzes were carried out between 11871 and 19110 Re. The results showed that Nu number values increased and friction factor values decreased for increasing Re number due to the increase in fluid flow rate. Compared to the plain pipe, the maximum Nu increase rate and friction factor increase were realized as 54.86% at Re = 11871 and 1394.79% at Re = 19110, respectively, for the 6-hole prism turbulator. It was concluded that the ideal number of perforated prism turbulators for this study is 1 perforated prism turbulator, which has the maximum TPF value (0.73372) at Re = 11871, despite the friction factor.
