Abstract

Background/Problem Statement: Mathematical knowledge is divided into two categories one of which named conceptual knowledge and another named procedural knowledge. Conceptual knowledge is defined as explicit or implicit understanding of principles that managed a field and of the interrelations between pieces of knowledge in instructional area (i.e., "knowing that"). Procedural knowledge is the knowledge of the steps and rules required for solving problems (i.e., "knowing how") and of symbols used in mathematics.
