Parking spaces are needed at every point where vehicles are used. If these parking areas are not planned correctly, they cause environmental and economic problems as well as social problems. The aim of this study is to identify new parking points that are positioned correctly in the city center and to offer solutions to reduce the parking load in traffic. In this study, the parking load on 44 different points in Erzincan city center was analyzed and the parking load of these points was examined. The data were obtained by counting these pre-determined points in the city center regularly for 12 months during the day and transferring these counts to the electronic environment. In the research, the most important points of parking need were determined by means of vehicle counts and parking information obtained for the city center and the data were analyzed by means of spatial analysis outputs, artificial neural networks and time series analysis method. In the light of the results of the analysis, the location and capacities of the proposed new parking areas were determined by determining 6 different points in the city center. As a result, the additional parking capacity of 1420 vehicles in the proposed new parking areas provided a solution-oriented approach to the parking problem in the city center.
