3. ULUSLARARASI MÜHENDİSLİK BİLİMLERİ VE MULTİDİSİPLİNER YAKLAŞIMLAR KONGRESİ, İstanbul, Türkiye, 10 - 11 Şubat 2022, ss.814-815
This
study examined the trends of monthly and annual potential evapotranspiration
(PET) values between 1965 and 2018 at Erzincan, Bayburt, and Gümüşhane
meteorological stations. Spearman's Rho, Mann Kendall (MK), and Sequential Mann
Kendall (SQMK) methods were used to determine the trends. The Hargreaves
equation was used to calculate the PET values. As a result of the study,
according to MK and Spearman's Rho tests, while increasing trends at 95% and
99% significance levels were dominant at Erzincan and Bayburt stations, no statistically
significant trends were found at Gümüşhane station except February. According
to the SQMK test, an increasing trend of 95% was observed in all periods at
Erzincan station, except for April, August, and December. In the Bayburt
station, increased trends at the level of 95% importance were determined in the
periods except for January and December. While increasing trends at 95%
significance level were dominant in February, October, December, and annual
periods in Gümüşhane station, no significant trends were found in other
periods. According to the findings, significant increases were detected in PET
trends at Erzincan, Bayburt, and Gümüşhane stations. For this reason, the
importance of taking measures against the decrease in agricultural production
in the study area and effectively managing water resources was emphasized.
