ABSTRACT

Introduction: Acupuncture is a treatment method with a history

of about 3000 years and can be used for many ailments,

especially in pain treatment. Migraine often affects the young

population and is 2-3 times more common in women. Migraine

both reduces the quality of life of the person and becomes an

economic burden on society.

Case: In this case, we use acupuncture for a 50-year-old female

who cannot use oral drugs. After 10 sessions, she had significant

relief.

Conclusion: We advise acupuncture in the treatment of

migraine, especially for patients with comorbidities, using multiple

drugs, or who do not want to use drugs.
