Abstract

This chapter aims to provide some insights on how to use poetry as a teaching resource in an English as a Foreign Language (EFL) classroom with a theoretical and practical focus. At the end of this chapter, readers will be able to cover the benefits of poetry in language teaching, design lessons and tasks via poetry in language teaching, and use poems successfully for various levels of learners.
