In this work, Slotted Vivaldi Antenna (SVA) design is performed for microwave imaging applications. First of all Conventional Vivaldi Antenna (CVA) is designed and various optimizations are performed on that antenna. CVA is designed by adding two slots to radiate at three different frequencies in the desired frequency band. Effects of added slots are indicated and comparisons have been made between CVA and SVA via numerical simulations. It is determined that the S11 parameter of the designed SVA is below -10 dB at 0.63 GHz, 1.53 GHz and 2 GHz. The antenna has been designed and measured by taking the S11 parameter, gain and radiation patern into the consideration. The S11 parameter of the CVA has been measured via a network analyzer and it has been observed that the results are similar to those obtained via simulations.
