Özet

The adsorption behavior of crystal violet (CV(+)) from aqueous solution onto raw Fatsa (RFB) and thermal-activated Fatsa (TAFB) bentonite samples was investigated as a function of parameters, such as pH, temperature, initial CV(+) concentration and contact time. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and differential thermal analysis (DTA) were used for structural and thermal characterization. The Langmuir and Freundlich adsorption models were applied to describe the equilibrium isotherms. The pseudo-first-order, pseudo-second-order kinetic and intra-particle diffusion models were used to describe the kinetic data.
