Abstract:
In this research, we implement a comparison of types of processed topics in Turkish books for the 4th grade of elementary school in Turkey and Kazakhstan. Textbooks are the most important resource in the education system. Therefore, textbooks play an important role in achieving the goals and gaining new skills. The importance of text types in Turkish textbooks is undeniable for the purposes of the Turkish course, learning areas and achievements according to the classes. In this sense, texts or text types prepared according to the mental and social development of the children, are very important.
